Incognita: ciò che ci mette più in crisi nella vita è il non avere certezze. Il prevalere delle incognite ci fa sentire eternamente su un filo sottile e invisibile dove i dettagli ci sfuggono senza darci la certezza dell’esistenza che viviamo. In quest’opera però l’incognita ha un’accezione positiva: se avessimo una vita piatta senza alti e bassi, nulla ci emozionerebbe, l’alternanza di ciò che apprezziamo e di ciò che aberriamo è il tratto distintivo della nostra esistenza.

Unknown: what puts us in crisis in our life is not having certainty. The prevalence of unknowns makes us feel eternally on a thin wire and invisible where the details escape us without giving us the certainty that we live. But in this artwork the unknown has a positive sense: if we had a flat life without negative and positive moments, nothing exite ourself, the alternation of what we value and what we refuse is the hallmark of our existence.
